PILOT Ballpoint Ink Refills for Better or EasyTouch Stick Pens - Fine Point Blue Ink (2-Pack) | Smooth Writing for Office, School & Daily Use (Model 77216)

I have used Bic 4 color pens for 40 years now. They are my trademark. Every photo of me has one in my pocket. I need 4 colors because I write in my dental charts where red and green have special meaning (blue and black for everything else). I like the fine points because I am a serious Bible student and write a lot in the margins of my Bible. The fine 4 color bic was great for that for about 20 years, Then I guess they changed the ink formula for something cheaper. Anyway, now, 9 out of 10 of them will not even write at all in the blue color!!! I have bought about 20 of them but only 2 have worked, and that not well. My old Bible notes prior to about 1995 still are crisp and did not bleed through the thin India Bible paper (the black bleeds through, but others won't). I could write at about 1 or 2 pitch! So fine I can not read it now without high magnification. And the 4 color bic refill is $5.44!!! And you have to buy all 4 colors. They don't sell just fine blue. What a rip-off. You can buy the pen for $4.98!!! How stupid is that. These Pilot refills work great for the Bic 4 color pen. You have to cut them off and ream the cut end out for it to snap in. If I sound angry and frustrated with Bic it is because I am. They are made in France. Thank you Pilot! for providing help.One of my employees went on vacation and bought me a souvenir pen. It ran out of ink, and I couldn't find a refill. I took a chance on these, and the only thing I had to do was cut off the end to make it fit. The pen is smooth and I'm happy to be using my pen again!GoodI've been using pillt oens to grade at a university for 30 years and have been trying to make my last two pens last to the point that I ran out and have been searching for medium point red for 5 years and could only going fine point! Can't wait to grade!The refills don’t fit the pen I bought them for.Although it doesn't indicate this on the package, this product is for the indicated types of Pilot _stick_ pens. For retractables of the same names, you need UPC # 77210, NOT #77215.The better touch I have requires a detent in the tube for the spring to press on. This refill has no detent and is too long. I put a detent in it with a pair of pliers and cut the tube off (in that order, important).
